Multicultural Poetry Evening

Join us for the Multicultural Poetry Evening!
Poetry allows us to see that despite language and cultural barriers we express the same emotions: love, suffering, joy or loneliness. During the Multicultural Poetry Evening we want to be inspired by literary traditions of different countries and look for a common denominator in the linguistic and cultural diversity.
We invite you to listen to poems in Polish, English, Arabic, Slovak, Hungarian and many others. Authors of the poems as well as the fans of poetry from various places in the world will present their favorite compositions.
During the event there will be time to talk about poems and emotions, some participants will prepare translations, present a short description of the presented poems, the circumstances of their creation or their own feelings about the words.
We invite you to discover together the power of the word in different languages and to open to other cultures, languages and literary traditions.
The event will take place on 30th July at 7 p.m. The event will be conducted in English.
