Handling accessibility requests and complaints

Everyone has the right to request that a digital website, mobile application or some element thereof be made accessible. ARCHITECTURAL ACCESSIBILITY

The grounds of Villa Decius can be entered from 28 Lipca 1943 and Kasztanowa Street. There are two entrances to the building. There is a staircase in front of the entrance on the east side, the entrance on the west side without stairs, but there is a threshold. The door is heavy, double-leafed and lacks door closers which can make it difficult to open. There is an intercom at the entrance door on the eastern side, equipped with a screen with a light and voice message to inform about the opening of the door.

The ground floor is accessible for wheelchair users, with thresholds and steps at the entrances to the rooms. Stairs lead to the first and second floors. There is no lift in the building.

On each floor of the building, there are tiffographic plans showing the layout of the rooms, and signs with the names of the rooms in Polish and Braille are placed on the doors to facilitate orientation in the building.

The information and reception desk is located on the ground floor in the lobby. It is a free-standing island accessible on two sides with a lowered countertop, in which a stationary induction loop is installed.

An online Polish Sign Language (PJM) interpreter is available at the reception desk. The service is available during office hours and is free of charge for Deaf people.

There is 1 designated disabled parking space in the upper courtyard car park.

The facility has a disabled toilet.

An assistance dog and a guide dog are allowed to enter the building and all its premises.
