A Celebration of Italian Culture and Art at Willa Decjusza

On the last weekend of July, we warmly invite you to the Institute of Culture Villa Decjusza for a unique celebration of Italian culture, art and tradition. "Italy at the Villa" offers three days filled with cultural experiences – from concerts and exhibitions to thematic walks and dance performances. Expect inspiring encounters, wonderful guests and a true Italian atmosphere.
Our Renaissance residence in Wola Justowska opens its doors once again to everyone: our neighbors, Kraków residents, and visitors who value cultural experiences in an open and welcoming setting.The event is organized in collaboration with Italian and local partners – combining passion for heritage, music, dance, and intercultural dialogue. All of this is framed by Italian hospitality.

Friday, 25 July
17:30 – Official Opening of "Italy at the Villa"Opening of the exhibition "Italia Giardino del Mondo: Where nature meets art, craft and design" – dedicated to the connection between Italian nature, craftsmanship, design, and visual art.
18:00 – Piano Concert "Romanticismo ed Estro"
A performance by an Italian quartet, offering a musical journey through romanticism, emotion, and Italian imagination.
Saturday, 26 July
11:00 – Thematic Walk: "In the Footsteps of the Italian Renaissance in Kraków"A guided walk co-organized with the Italian Cultural Institute in Kraków.
Meeting point: Katyń Memorial, near the Church of St. Giles, ul. Grodzka 67.
Tickets required
14:00 – Dance performance by Cracovia Danza
A presentation of dances inspired by Italian court traditions.
15:30–16:15 – Guided Tour of Villa Decjusza
A tour of the residence with a guide in both Polish and English.

11:00 – Thematic Walk (second edition) – same route and meeting point15:00–15:45 – Guided Tour of Villa Decjusza
A second opportunity to discover the Villa’s architecture and Italian influences, both historical and artistic.
