Handling accessibility requests and complaints
Everyone has the right to request that a digital website, mobile application or some element thereof be made accessible. It is also possible to request that the information be made available by means of an alternative means of access, for example by reading a digitally inaccessible document, describing the content of a film without an audio description, etc. The request should include the details of the person making the request, an indication of which website or mobile application is being requested and the means of contact. If the person making the request wishes to receive the information by means of an alternative means of access, he or she should also specify how the information is convenient for him or her. The public entity should implement the request immediately, no later than within 7 days from the date of the request. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the public entity shall immediately inform the person making the request about it and specify the time within which it will be possible to fulfill the request, no longer than 2 months from the date of the reques[2] t. If ensuring digital accessibility is not possible, the public entity may propose an alternative method of access to information. In the event that the public entity refuses to comply with the request to ensure accessibility or an alternative method of access to information, the person making the request may file a complaint regarding the provision of digital accessibility of the website or element of the website. After exhausting the procedure indicated above, you can also submit an application to the Ombudsman, https://bip.brpo.gov.pl/
