The Villa Decius Institute for Culture, which is co-organiser of the events of the 6th Festival and Piano Competition, together with the Sfogato Music and Art Society in Krakow invite you to participate in the festival events.
On 27 February at 9.00 a.m., at Villa Decius will take place a Piano Master Class for young pianists from music schools of the first and second degree under the direction of Professor Andrzej Pikul (Piano Department of the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Krakow).
On 1 March (Wednesday) at 6 p.m., we invite you to the Villa Decius for a festival concert dedicated to the 213th anniversary of Fryderyk Chopin's birth. Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just will perform in a piano recital. The artist is a talented pianist, conducts extensive concert activity as a soloist and chamber musician all over the world, and has recorded over 30 albums, including works by Fryderyk Chopin. She is active in teaching as a professor at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where she currently holds the position of Head of the Piano Department.
