Multicultural Library 03.12.2020

Over 300 book enriched Krakow Library resources!
The Multicultural Library is an initiative of the Villa Decius Institute for Culture which is a partner of the Multicultural Festival – New Cracovians.

The Villa Decius Institute for Culture invited Krakow-based Consulates and the Wisława Szymborska Foundation to provide books in the national languages of minorities living in Krakow, as well as publications by foreign writers translated into Polish.

On December 1, 2020 Dominika Kasprowicz, Director of the Villa Decius Institute for Culture delivered books to Krakow Library and officially passed them to Stanislaw Dziedzic, Director of the Library.

The books will be donated to the Krakow Library, where they will be available to both foreigners and Poles who learn foreign languages. Several hundred books – novels, reportages, art catalogues and poetry collection will be delivered to Branch 21 of the foreign language lending office at ul. Królewska 59, where they will be available to anyone interested in literature.
