We invite you to Villa Decius for a concert featuring the DIGI ORCHESTRA.
On Sunday, 3 March at 12 noon, we invite you to Villa Decius for a musical event that will showcase the qualities of an innovative instrument to assist soloists in performing piano concertos.

Only a week ago, at Villa Decius, we recalled the period in the history of music when the prototype of the piano was constructed and the first works composed for this now widely known instrument were written. Music is a field that does not stop in time, and fully keeps up with the development of civilisation. This time, on Sunday, 3 March, the entire orchestra will sound in the intimate interiors of Villa Decius. This will be possible thanks to a modern solution, the DIGI ORCHESTRA - an instrument that supports the soloist-instrumentalist and replaces the orchestra playing live. The Digi Orchestra is already known in Italy, while in Poland these are the first presentations using this digital tool.

The concert will feature pianists from Poland - Daniel Aulak and Juliusz Goniarski - and Piero Cinosi from Italy. The Digi Orchestra will be directed by Marco Robino, assisted by Andrea Mancini and Paweł Małecki.
In the programme, the artists will perform excerpts from Robert Schumann's Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 54 and Ludwig van Beethov's Piano Concerto in C minor No. 3, Op. 37 by Ludwig van Beethoven.

- is an instrument that supports the soloist-instrumentalist and enables the substitution of a live orchestra. Thanks to the use of an innovative mechanism, this solution is helpful in teaching work, among other things. The digital tool creates the conditions for pupils or students to improve their performance of concert pieces by allowing the soloist to have a virtual orchestra, but one that is oriented towards the individual interpretation and tailored to the needs of the performer.

Admission to the concert is free - free tickets are available at the link:

The concert at Villa Decius is the final event in the series of 5 concerts of the virtual orchestra "CAdMO - Computer Aided Digital Music Orchestra" realised in the period from 1 to 3 March by the Association of Polish Chamber Musicians together with Accademia di Musica Pinerolo in Italy as part of the project "New Digital Skills for Music Education" co-financed by the European Union under the Key Action 2 of the Erasmus+ programme: Partnerships for Cooperation.
