The European Heritage Alliance Manifesto 19.10.2020
Europa Nostra against the pandemic
Having in mind that the vast world of culture and cultural heritage has been heavily and particularly affected by the pandemic, with serious cultural, social, and economic implications for heritage professionals and volunteers Europa Nostra prepared „The European Heritage Alliance Manifesto. Cultural Heritage: a powerful catalyst for the future of Europe”, to convey a strong message of solidarity, hope, and unity to Europe’s leaders and citizens.
The Manifesto was announced and signed during Europa Nostra Online General Assembly on October the 19th, 2020. On behalf of the Villa Decius Institute for Culture, one of the member of the Europa Nostra network, in the meeting will take part Dominka Kasprowicz, Director of the Villa Decius Institute for Culture.
This year, the Villa Decius Institute for Culture has joined the group of associated organizations operating within the Europa Nostra network. Europa Nostra's mission is to place culture and cultural heritage at the heart of European activities. This idea has guided IKWD from the beginning of its activity.
