Screenwriting Residencies 2025 at Villa Decius – Creative Voices Selected 09.09.2025
The jury has chosen the participants of this year’s Screenwriting Residency Program at Villa Decius, part of the Forum of Cultures Dialogue. For one month, authors from Poland and Germany will live and work in Kraków, developing their texts and engaging with the theatre, literary, and film communities.
The jury has selected the creative participants of this year’s edition of the Screenwriting Residency Program at Villa Decius, organized as part of the Forum of Cultures Dialogue!
The residencies provide a space for meeting and creative work for authors of theatre and radio plays as well as film and television scripts from Poland and Germany. For one month, the residents will live at Villa Decius, develop their texts, and take part in networking meetings with representatives of the theatre, literary, and film communities.Soon we will welcome to Kraków:
Ewe Benbebek, Lena Laguszonkowa, Fatima Çalışkan, and Jäckie Rydz.

The project is carried out in cooperation with, among others, Internationales Theaterinstitut (ITI) / Zentrum Bundesrepublik Deutschland and the Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Kraków.
The residency is funded by the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation.
