Marathon of dramatic miniature 15.12.2024
A meeting with the contemporary Polish and German dramaturgy.
SIX PREMIERE DRAMATIC MINIATURES. SIX YOUNG DIRECTORS FROM THE KRAKOW ACADEMY OF THEATRE ARTS. ONE EVENING WITH THE CONTEMPORARY POLISH AND GERMAN DRAMATURGY.
Villa Decius and Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Krakow invite you to the MARATHON OF DRAMATIC MINIATURES based on six texts by artists, written within the Polish-German screenwriting and playwriting scholarships.
In September, October and November of this year, playwrights from Poland and Germany worked on their projects at Villa Decius. Each of them was tasked with writing a dramatic miniature within a month. These texts were then drawn among six students of the Academy of Theatre Arts in Kraków, who, together with actors from the Słowacki Theatre and AST, prepared their theatrical interpretations.
The result of these extraordinary stage encounters will be on show on 15 December from 7.00 pm at the Słowacki Theatre's House of Machines (2 Plac Świętego Ducha, Krakow).
