Andrzejki Seniors’ Dance Party at Strzelnica na Woli – dance, joy, and community at its best 01.12.2025

Strzelnica na Woli once again proved to be a place where the true heart of the local community beats. On November 28, 2025, the former shooting range transformed into a real ballroom — filled with music, laughter, dancing, and neighborhood energy. The Andrzejki dance party for seniors was not only an opportunity to celebrate together, but also a symbolic tribute to intergenerational connection and the joy of life.
In the rhythm of old and new hits
The evening kicked off with a bang — after all, the music was in the hands of true masters of good vibes: Waldemar Domański, known as the “ancient disc jockey,” and Rafał Kuś, a modern DJ with a flair for dance-floor experiments. Their duel on the decks — “retro versus modern” — set the crowd on fire! Seniors proved there’s no such thing as bad timing for dancing — all you need is good music and a smile.

There was no shortage of Polish song classics that stirred memories and touched the hearts of the participants. Shared dances, conversations, and laughter filled the entire hall of Strzelnica, creating an atmosphere that words can hardly capture — you simply had to be there.

Attractions that brought generations together
The organisers — the Willa Decjusza Institute of Culture, the Polish Song Library, and the Kraków Senior Council — prepared a variety of activities that kept everyone glued to the dance floor. Guests enjoyed Andrzejki fortune-telling, dance contests, group singing, and surprises led by the team from the “Restless Legs Ensemble Management Center.”

There was something for everyone — from a chat over coffee to a twist-driven dance frenzy. But one thing mattered most: being together. And that perfectly reflects the mission of Strzelnica na Woli — building relationships, strengthening bonds, and creating a space where every resident feels at home.

Strzelnica na Woli — a place brought to life by people
Once a military shooting range, today a lively centre of culture and community, Strzelnica has become a symbol of a modern, open space for all generations. Here, age, profession, or background don’t matter — what counts is people and their willingness to create something together.

This is where concerts, workshops, neighbourhood picnics, book exchanges, and events take place — all proving how essential local community truly is. The Andrzejki dance party was the best example of that: hundreds of smiles, dozens of new friendships, and one shared denominator — the joy of being together.

And this is only the beginning!
Seeing how successful this event was, one thing is certain — we can’t imagine stopping here! Strzelnica na Woli is already planning more gatherings, dance parties, and neighbourhood initiatives that will let Kraków’s residents meet, dance, laugh, and continue shaping the story of this special place.

Because Strzelnica na Woli is more than a building — it’s the heart of the community, beating to the rhythm of conversation, music, and dance.

The Andrzejki dance party proved that Strzelnica na Woli is a place where everyone is warmly welcomed — no matter the age. It’s a space filled with energy, respect, and cooperation, where the local community truly comes alive.
Anyone who has visited even once already knows: in Strzelnica na Woli, the music never stops — and its rhythm is set by the people.
