MEETINGS
On Saturday 21 September, Villa Decius will host the event ‘Mexican fiesta at Decius’ to celebrate the 214th anniversary of Mexican Independence.
On the programme: a concert, a dance show and a presentation of authentic Mexican cuisine.
The event is co-organised by the Villa Decius Cultural Institute, the Embassy of Mexico in Poland and the Multicultural Centre in Krakow.
As part of the celebrations of the Year of Gombrowicz, we would like to invite you to Villa Decius on 26 September (Thursday), at 5 p.m. to a meeting entitled ‘The Push for Novelty and Debuts’. The meeting will be attended by the first winner of the Gombrowicz Literary Award and the winner of this year's edition of the Award.
The W. Gombrowicz Prize is a literary award established by the Radom City Council and awarded since 2016 for a debut, understood as the author's first or second book written in artistic prose (in Polish). The honorary patron of the Gombrowicz Prize is Rita Gombrowicz, the writer's widow.
