Cracow Music Salon

Classical music concerts
8th Cracow Music Salon

Together with the Association of Polish Chamber Musicians, we would like to invite you to the 8th edition of the ‘Krakow Music Salon’ Festival. The aim of the festival, as every year, is to restore the memory of the tradition of music salons as a popular element of cultural life in 19th century Krakow.

The festival popularises the chamber music works of Polish composers, not only of the 19th century, but also of contemporary composers. Hence the programme will include works by Szymon Laks, Ludomir Różycki, Franz Schubert, works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Francis Poulenc, Jean-René Francaix, and many first performances, including new compositions by Michał Moc, Andrzej Karałow, Anna Ignatowicz-Glińska, Alicja Gronau and Edward Sielicki.

This year's edition will be held at the Krakow Museum - Fontana Hall, the Willa Decius Cultural Institute, the Institute of Musicology at the Jagiellonian University and a private salon on Studencka Street. The festival will run from 7 to 29 September.
